Farewell / A modo de despedida
This is my last Newsletter, after two busy and enjoyable years at Colegio EuroAmericano. I am sad to be leaving, but proud of the achievements made by the school in that time. Staff have worked tirelessly towards the implementation of the IB philosophy, students have risen to the challenge of the new programmes and are enjoying the new resources that allow true student inquiry. The IB Diploma Programme is now fully authorised, with Grade 11 students studying hard towards the final exams in November next year.

Paseo General
As last year, we split the school in two, with Infants and Primary spending a day of games and social integration at the XX club in Chosica and Secondary taking an educational trip to the ancient ruins of Caral.
Al igual que el año pasado, los niveles de Inicial y Primaria compartieron un día de juegos e integración en el Club La Cantuta de Chosica. Asimismo, con los estudiantes de Secundaria realizaron un viaje educativo a las ruinas de la antigua ciudad de Caral.
Student Council / Consejo Estudiantil
In an initiative led by Mr. Perrin and Mr. Todorovic, the secondary school experienced its first democratic elections. The newly elected class representatives will be meeting regularly to discuss items of general concern to be presented to the Principal for action.
En una iniciativa liderada por el Sr. Perrin y el Sr. Todorovic, nuestros estudiantes de secundaria tuvieron su primera experiencia en una elección democrática, en la que intervinieron para elegir a sus representantes. Los representantes elegidos se reunirán regularmente para discutir propuestas de interés general que luego serán presentadas al director para su puesta en marcha.
Mini Olympics - Mini Olimpiadas
The PE team produced the customary display of sporting talent and enthusiasm at this year's Mini-Olympics. The four teams competed strongly over the three weeks and only on the very last day did a winner emerge - the BLUE team!
El equipo de Educación Física motivó un gran despliegue de talentos deportivos y de mucho entusiasmo en las Miniolimpiadas de este año. Los cuatro equipos participantes compitieron duramente durante tres semanas hasta que el último día surgió un ganador: ¡El equipo Azul!
